This is a Special Event. PLEASE READ!! Come and paint with us! On February 10th, come join and ”PAINT YOUR PERSON”. You can paint 1 person in a POP-art styled art form. While you paint, enjoy the venues full menu of delicious appetizers or entrees and poured beverages (purchased separately). This event is a 2.5 hour event. Everything you need for the event will be provided; however, food and beverages are purchased separately. When you arrive you will have a sketched POP-art imprint of your submitted image and a reference photo with possible styles to consider. During the event pick your colours and design while I take you step by step through the painting at hand. Once you’ve secured your ticket, we need to know some details for your person! IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Once a ticket(s) has been purchased, you will be required to send me a picture(s) of the loved one you would like to paint. The photo must: - Be a close up of the individuals face. (Face must fill the frame of the photo and not leave a large amount of background space) - Must be a high image quality and resolution so that a zoom can be performed if needed. - Focus and clear. - A good balance of light. Any unable to use photos will be rejected. We will contact you back if we are not able to use the delivered photo. It is best to submit your photo in to the email provided ASAP. All photos must be email to paint.ptbo@gmail.com by the due date Feb 8th, 2024 1. There will be no refunds administered after Feb 5th as further prep for the event will have already been started. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Candace is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Kawartha Downs and casino, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Paint Your Person/PET (POP ART STYLE) is one of our family-friendly paintings. All ages are welcome at this event. We recommend ages 5 and up for independent painting, though younger kids can share a canvas with an adult.
Candace is a real local artist based in Fraserville — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Your ticket to Paint Your Person/PET (POP ART STYLE) includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Candace. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Kawartha Downs and casino — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
This event runs approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 2:30 PM — we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get settled and order your first drink before Candace starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Paint Nite — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
