Join us for a night of creativity and relaxation as we partner with the talented artists of ArtLabMTL for a Paint Nite event in the charming town of Annies sur le Lac. Located in the picturesque Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, this event will be the perfect opportunity to let your inner artist shine while enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. Sip on your favorite drink and let our skilled instructors guide you step-by-step in creating your own masterpiece to take home. NOTES: 1. This class is targeted for beginners to intermediate artists; We will work slow. 2. We will use 12in x 16in canvas panels, not stretched canvases. Canvas panels provide superior surface for painting and allow for better brush control while working, especially for beginner artists. 3. If you prefer working on a larger surface, feel free to request a 16 in × 20 in canvas from the instructor - it's included with your ticket at no extra cost. 4. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase during the class.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Santa wants a glass of red is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — ArtLab breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. ArtLab is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Annies sur le Lac, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
ArtLab is a real local artist based in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing. Heather B. said: 'The teacher was amazing. Great atmosphere. Beautiful project. I learned some new techniques!'
Annies sur le Lac is a local venue in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 8 upcoming events in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue this month. You can view them here.
Santa wants a glass of red is a winter painting — cozy seasonal vibes for a great night out.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Santa wants a glass of red includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from ArtLab. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Annies sur le Lac — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
This event runs approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 2:00 PM — we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get settled and order your first drink before ArtLab starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
