Hello. My name is John Bevz, but I go by Carnie. I am a Las Cruces native and have lived all over the state of New Mexico. I hold a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering from NMSU. Painting is an activity that I find very meditative and a great stress reliever from the daily grind. It is therapeutic in the sense that it puts my mind at ease. I strongly feel that the more relaxed and comfortable a person is while creating their masterpiece, the better and more satisfied a person will be with the end result. I try to encourage people to stray from the norm and create works that don't follow the standard formula. Breathe, relax, and have some fun.
