Crystal Payton

Crystal Payton has wanted to play in the dirt ever since she helped her second grade teacher care for classroom plants as a child in small town Hays, Kansas. She went on to study Dietetics at Kansas State University and now lives in Washington, DC (Northern Virginia) and Las Vegas, NV where she hosts Plant Nite events, helping everyone discover their green thumbs while enjoying a fun atmosphere over happy hour. A Plant Nite host since the Washington, DC launch in February 2016, Crystal's favorite plant is Anacampseros rufescens (a pretty purple succulent). For her, Plant Nite is a creative and relaxed experience that “provides a clean way to get dirty with friends.” Crystal is also an artist with Paint Nite and loves to help Las Vegas and Washington, DC Drink Creatively. When she’s not working Plant Nite or Paint Nite, Crystal can be found at Crossfit Unbowed in Woodbridge, VA getting jacked or at Sol Mexican Grill with her boyfriend, enjoying a famous margarita and taco.
