Hello! My adult journey with art began over a decade ago when I had to make a collage as part of group therapy during my stay at a inpatient rehab facility. I was a creative child but I had completely pushed that aside when I hit puberty. Making that collage reignited the creative spark within me. I used the Internet to teach myself different mediums and techniques over the years including mixed media, various acrylic techniques, photography, wood art, knitting, alcohol ink, resin art and resin jewelry. It has been fourteen years since I made that collage and creating art has been a constant source of comfort. The majority of my adult life has been a struggle for me. Partly spent in and out of hospitals, institutions and rehabs. A few years ago I finally got the proper diagnosis that changed my life. Bipolar disorder. Finally I was medicated and treated properly. I have been stable ever since. I am incredibly positive and outgoing. I can have a conversation with pretty much anyone..I am energized by being around other people. I will absolutely make sure that everyone has a positive experience.
