Jennifer Hobbs

My name is Jennifer and I live in Danville KY with my wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters. I like to say I've been an artist all of my life. Some of my earliest memories include arranging my stuffed animals for photo shoots or experiencing sheer delight when my mother brought me home a giant, brand-new sketch pad. In college, I studied visual arts education and photography, receiving a BA in Visual Arts Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Since those college days, I have been a substitute teacher, photographer, and a stay at home mom before my girls started school. Now that they have both began school, I am focusing on myself as an artist and on my career. From painting faces at local festivals, to volunteering to paint inspirational quotes in the gym of my daughters school, I have incorporated my love of art into my life and the lives of my family. I love that Paint Nite has given me this wonderful opportunity to use my skills as an artist and a teacher. No matter what the age or setting, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing the look on a student's face when they accomplish something that they thought they couldn't do.
