She brings a lifelong love of nature, creatures, whimsy, and bright colours to her work. She has a background in interactive systems design and has completed research on how engaging in shared creativity brings people together. In addition to visual art, she enjoys creative writing, dog agility, gardening, and reading fantasy novels.
