Spend an evening painting “Paradise Cave” at 300 Club Lounge in Modesto. This paint and sip event is beginner friendly and designed for anyone who wants a relaxed night out. No experience needed. All supplies are provided, including a 16 x 20 canvas. The painting features cool blues, earthy browns, soft greens, and white highlights that create a cave opening overlooking water and light. It has a calm, adventurous feel without being complicated. I guide the class step by step, but you can adjust colors and details to match your style. The session runs about two hours and is open to kids and adults. Whether you are planning a Modesto date night, a birthday outing, or just looking for things to do in Modesto this weekend, this is an easy way to unplug and make something you can actually hang at home. 300 Club Lounge at 2301 Yosemite Blvd has a comfortable, low pressure atmosphere that works well for a paint night. You can grab food or drinks nearby before or after class and turn it into a full evening out. Private paint parties are available for groups of 10 or more. Bring three friends and receive 15 percent off your tickets. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the event. If you want a simple paint and sip in Modesto where you can relax, follow clear instruction, and leave with a finished canvas, this one is for you.

Meet Ilya, the creative genius behind Patterson's paint and sip events! A graduate of San Francisco's Academy of Art and represented by Ryan Graff Contemporary Gallery, Ilya infuses each event with his unique artistic vision. Join him for an unforgettable night of artistic expression and experience the thrill of creativity like never before!
Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Paradise Cave is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Ilya breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Ilya is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at 300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes), a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Ilya is a real local artist based in MODESTO — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing. Natalie P. said: 'I had 3 friends buy tickets and I never got a refund for my ticket. Never even got a response from the paintnite people when I asked about it. Paint night was fun but that was a little upsetting.'
300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes) is a local venue in MODESTO — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 6 upcoming events in MODESTO this month. You can view them here.
Paradise Cave is a summer painting — bright, warm tones that match the season perfectly.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in MODESTO, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Paradise Cave includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Ilya. Drinks and food are ordered separately from 300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
This event runs approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 2:00 PM — we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get settled and order your first drink before Ilya starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
