Paint “Lost in the Sunset” at 300 Club Lounge in Modesto during this beginner friendly Paint Nite. This is a relaxed paint and sip event with clear step by step instruction. No prior experience needed. You’ll be guided through the process, but you can adjust colors and details if you want to personalize your canvas. The artwork features a silhouetted figure set against a layered sunset sky with reds, oranges, purples, and soft blends of light. It looks dramatic, but the techniques are broken down into simple stages. You’ll work on a 16 x 20 canvas and the class runs about two hours. All painting supplies are included. If you are searching for things to do in Modesto, planning a Modesto date night, or organizing a birthday or girls night out, this paint night is an easy option. The venue is located at 2301 Yosemite Blvd inside Yosemite Lanes and has a casual atmosphere that works well for friends, couples, and families. Kids and adults are welcome. Virtual paint night options are also available if you prefer to join from home and move at your own pace. Private paint parties can be arranged for groups of 10 or more. Bring three friends and receive 15 percent off your tickets. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the event. If you want a paint and sip in Modesto where you can relax, follow clear instruction, and leave with a finished sunset canvas, this one fits.

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Lost in the Sunset is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Ilya breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Ilya is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at 300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes), a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Lost in the Sunset is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in MODESTO. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Ilya is a real local artist based in MODESTO — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing. Natalie P. said: 'I had 3 friends buy tickets and I never got a refund for my ticket. Never even got a response from the paintnite people when I asked about it. Paint night was fun but that was a little upsetting.'
300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes) is a local venue in MODESTO — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Lost in the Sunset is a fall painting — rich autumn colors that capture the season beautifully.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in MODESTO, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Lost in the Sunset includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Ilya. Drinks and food are ordered separately from 300 Club Lounge (Yosemite Lanes) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
This event runs approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 2:00 PM — we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get settled and order your first drink before Ilya starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
