Where American comfort meets French flair! Mimi's was first opened in 1978 by an American Airman who wanted to bring a little bit of Paris to America. Now Mimi's Cafe is bringing French cuisine to many locations across the US. Don’t forget to try Mimi’s famous croissants or their all-day breakfast. Be sure to pair one of their classic French dishes, like baked Brie or Steak Frites with a glass of wine or a mimosa. If French cuisine isn’t your thing, you can find comfort in American classics like Chicken Pot Pie. Delicious house wine is $5 a glass! In just about two hours, while you’re sipping on a glass of wine, beer, or cocktail, our artist will guide you through a painting step-by-step. At the end of the night, take home your own unique masterpiece--you will be amazed by what you can do! Please note: there is not food and drink included in your ticket price and events are 21+ and are NOT BYOB. Seating is first come, first served. Please try to arrive 30 minutes before the event to get a good seat and place a food or drink order with your server before the event begins. Please remember that Paint Nite is an entertainment service, therefore tipping your artist is greatly appreciated! No matter what you’re eating or drinking, if you’re looking for the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine for girl’s night out, you’re sure to love Paint Nite at Mimi’s!

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Bumblebee Bokeh is one of our more detailed paintings, which is exactly what makes it so satisfying to finish. Wendy paces it carefully so nobody gets left behind — and Wendy will help you turn any mistake into something intentional. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Wendy is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Mimi's Cafe (Tustin), a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Bumblebee Bokeh is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in Tustin. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Wendy is a real local artist based in Tustin — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing. Melissa J. said: 'Great teacher, fun for kids and kept them engaged motivated. Cute cafe good muffins.'
Mimi's Cafe (Tustin) is a local venue in Tustin — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yes — we have 35 upcoming events in Tustin this month. You can view them here.
Bumblebee Bokeh is a summer painting — bright, warm tones that match the season perfectly.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Tustin, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Bumblebee Bokeh includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Wendy. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Mimi's Cafe (Tustin) — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
This event runs approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 2:00 PM — we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get settled and order your first drink before Wendy starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
