No experience required! We will have a super fun and creative paint pouring experience; letting the good times FLOW! Specialty glitter paints will also be provided to add to your options!
Your experience includes 4 ceramic coasters and 1 mini canvas to practise your technique first! :) For extra sweet personalization, feel free to bring a little bit of SAND from your favorite beach!!
Come out early to enjoy drinks or a full meal before we get started; Three10 has a fantastic menu! If you're part of a large group, come and reserve those seats at least 30 mins ahead of the start time.
Recommended for teens 13+ and adults. Minors must be accompanied by a participating adult, each with their own tickets. All attendees require a ticket; no "spectators" will be seated in the event area. Drinks and food are available for purchase from the venue and not included in the ticket price.

I'm thrilled to be hosting/instructing an experience that can be so empowering, transformative, and therapeutic (at the very least, huge fun!)... It's beautiful to watch people amaze themselves; doing something adventurous and overcoming doubts. I hope to provide you with a supportive, encouraging environment, where you can just relax, create, and laugh along with me (I goof around a lot)! My artistic background is wildly varied (pencil portraits, professional face painting, crafts/card making, carving, sculpting, design/decorating projects) - I love any chance to be creative! I can't wait to have you out to explore and unleash your own glorious artistry! Whether you're with your friends or flying solo, it's SO much fun! See you soon! :)

Yes. Ocean Pour Coasters is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Monique breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Crafts events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
Monique is a real local artist based in Winnipeg — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. 59 out of 63 guests who've painted with Monique say the instruction was amazing. The Rec Room is a local venue in Winnipeg — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Crafts events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.

Your ticket to Ocean Pour Coasters includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Monique . Drinks and food are ordered separately from The Rec Room — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
The Rec Room's doors open at 11:30 AM, the event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Monique starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Crafts event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Crafts cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
This event has reached our minimum attendance threshold and is guaranteed to run. If we ever have to cancel a guaranteed event, every ticket holder receives a full automatic refund plus a free ticket to a future Crafts — no questions asked. The only exception is weather or force majeure, where full refunds are issued but free tickets are not.
