Picture a glowing cabin window cutting through deep blue and black, warm orange and yellow light spilling out into the trees around it — that's what we're building together, and it looks so much better than you'd expect from your first hour with a brush. I'm Janna, and I've been doing this long enough to know that the people who walk in most nervous usually end up the most proud of what they made. No experience needed at all — I'll meet you where you are. We'll be painting at 100 Acre Brewing Co., a farmhouse brewery with a genuinely easy, welcoming feel, good beer, and plenty of room to relax into the afternoon.

Janna has been happily hosting Paint Nite since 2018. As a Master Artist, she has garnered a dedicated following with her passion, technique, and delightful sense of humour. She is constantly experimenting with new mediums and her clothes and hands always tell a colourful, messy story. When Janna puts down her paintbrush she can be found baking custom cakes and treats that further showcase her creative talent, and taste delicious too! Come have a drink with her and paint your own masterpiece!

Yes. Lit at the Lodge is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Janna breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Janna is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at 100 Acre Brewing Co., a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.

Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in Peterborough, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Lit at the Lodge includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Janna. Drinks and food are ordered separately from 100 Acre Brewing Co. — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
100 Acre Brewing Co.'s doors open at 11:00 AM, the event starts at 2:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 1:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Janna starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
