Wooden Serving Tray! - Paint a custom serving tray (about 16” x 10”) using stencils or freestyle. Stickers and glitter also available. Modpodge will be used to seal. ———————— We said “new year, new energy”… and clearly we meant chaos in the best way. This year at Bonchon Arlington, we’re throwing out the canvas and keeping you guessing—because why paint the expected when you can paint literally anything else? Welcome to our Anything-But-Canvas Paint Night Series: a lineup of bold, quirky, slightly unhinged creative nights where denim gets a glow-up, wood gets personality, leather gets attitude, and your imagination runs the show. Every event is a new medium, a new surface, and a new chance to say “wait… I made this?!” Happening all spring and summer, so pick a date, bring your vibe, and come get a little messy with us. No rules. No canvas. Just good food, good laughs, and unforgettable creations. ✨

Questions about what to expect, what’s included, and how it all works.
Yes. Anything But Canvas Series is designed to be achievable at any experience level. More satisfying than it looks difficult — Shy breaks every step down clearly. Most of our guests have never picked up a brush before, and they leave with something they're genuinely proud of. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Shy is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Bonchon Arlington, a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Yes — Anything But Canvas Series is a Paint Nite favourite for girls nights in ARLINGTON. Everyone paints their own canvas, so there's always something to laugh about at the end. If you're planning a bachelorette party or a larger group, private events of 10+ get reserved seating and a custom experience.
Shy is a real local artist based in ARLINGTON — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. Paint Nite artists complete our certification program before their first event. Across all Paint Nite events, 93% of guests say their instructor was amazing. Anissa T. said: 'The host was amazing. Very nice atmosphere and a very enjoyable crowd. Nice and intimate.'
Bonchon Arlington is a local venue in ARLINGTON — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in ARLINGTON, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Anything But Canvas Series includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Shy. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Bonchon Arlington — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
This event runs approximately 2 hours. Doors open at 2:00 PM — we recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get settled and order your first drink before Shy starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
