Jellyfish love the way this one looks on a wall — two panels, one painting, the kind of thing that only works when two people do it together. I've been running these events since 2014 and the partner paintings are still my favorite nights, because something about splitting a canvas between two people just loosens everyone up. We keep the energy high, the drinks flowing, and nobody is sitting there stressed about whether they can paint — I'll meet you where you are and we'll build it from the first brushstroke. The colors are wild: blues and purples bleeding into orange and red, and when you push the two panels together at the end, that's the moment.

We run high energy events. We have a ton of fun, and will consume an adult beverage or two. We started doing paint nite events in 2014, it's been one heck of a ride. Thom is on the cutting edge with some of the new virtual events with Craft Cocktails and Interacttive game nights. We like to have fun, but we are dedicated to making sure every guest is included and has the best possible experience. Jellyfish Love Partner Painting is one of our more detailed paintings, which is exactly what makes it so satisfying to finish. Thom paces it carefully so nobody gets left behind — and Thom will help you turn any mistake into something intentional. Worth knowing: Paint Nite events happen at real bars and restaurants, not studios — it's a night out that happens to involve painting.
A painting class teaches you technique. Paint Nite gives you a finished painting and a good night. Thom is a real local artist — not a teacher running a curriculum — and this event happens at Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing , a real local spot, not a studio. Paint Nite invented this format in 2012 and has sold more than 10 million tickets. The trade-off is honest: lighting varies, it can get loud, and the person at the next easel is a stranger. That's the point. It's more of a night out than a class.
Thom is a real local artist based in VANCOUVER — not a franchise employee or a corporate hire. In VANCOUVER, 25 out of 55 Paint Nite guests rated their instructor as amazing. Betsy C. said: 'So much fun - everyone needs to do it!'
Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing is a local venue in VANCOUVER — a real local spot, not a dedicated painting studio. Paint Nite events happen at places like this by design — venues with character, regulars, and a bar. It can get lively. That's what makes it a night out rather than a class. 25% of guests who've attended events at Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing rated the atmosphere highly.
Yes — we have 56 upcoming events in VANCOUVER this month. You can view them here.
Yaymaker is Paint Nite. We brought both brands together under the Paint Nite name — same artists, same events, same format we invented in 2012. More than 10 million tickets have been sold across both brands combined. If you used to attend Yaymaker events in VANCOUVER, you're in the right place. Welcome back.
Your ticket to Jellyfish Love Partner Painting includes the canvas, all the paint you'll need, the use of brushes and an apron during the event, and step-by-step instruction from Thom. Drinks and food are ordered separately from Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing — you pay the venue directly for anything you eat or drink.
Best Western Premier at Fisher's Landing 's event starts at 6:00 PM. We suggest showing up by 5:30 PM to give yourself time to pick your seats, get a drink and maybe a bite before Thom starts the painting.
You can reschedule your ticket to any other Paint Nite event up to 24 hours before this one starts. After that, tickets are locked — no refunds or changes. If Paint Nite cancels this event for any reason, you'll receive a full automatic refund.
