Servers were great, very pleasant & accommodating! Large menu with a wide variety of options. Food was average for pub food! Shepards Pie was good, wings were okay, soup of the day was tasty but a little watered down, battered mushrooms were not good but mozzarella sticks were fine! Lots of comfortable seating!
food is great as always and the staff are wonderful people. we are there often and we love the place except for a little wok is needed to clean up gardens from weeds and also the patio. it is great that the food is good and service is good but the outside look of a place helps encourage more visitors. and we do eat there often. inside is nice and clean. the paved parking lot is so much better too.
I felt for something different so I was looking at the menu of Castle John Lindsay to find something I haven't tried before and settled on the Buffalo Chicken Caesar Wrap, Greek Salad and the Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie. I thought for sure based on the reviews that I would love it but I didn't. I really didn't taste much of the chicken flavour. Don't get me wrong the presentation of the food was good but, my wrap this day was not good. I enjoyed the fries and the Greek Salad was good. After what I could eat I thought I would love the Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie but, all I saw was a lot of chocolate syrup and hardly tasted the Peanut Butter. I was disappointed. The review on the wrap inspired me to order it but I regretted. Castle John has some good items on the menu but, I guess my taste buds are different then previous orders. I do order from time to time but, it will be time for sure. Included pictures
