Lots of flavor and value in a very inviting spot. Been coming here for years and never disappointed. The Platters are all kinds of flavors and offerings tastefully combined for a gustatory conquest. They have an avocado sauce that is popular as well. They're on the sunny side of the Main Street and a window seat will do you right. You won't regret stop again for a bite.
Visited for the first time, absolutely in love with this place! What a great place to celebrate a birthday. Thank you to the owner, David, he greeted us. The staff we interacted with was amazing, Karen, Fío, Alexander…. Thank you for outstanding hospitality. The food, the passion fruit mojito, the dessert! Delicious and generous portions. Finally, the energy, the decor, the music, everything was spectacular. I’m not from the area, but I will be coming back.
I have been going to Gallo for many years and have never been disappointed until I went on March 16, 2026. Most of the food was a disgrace. I had a visitor in from Oklahoma and thought he would enjoy the food. We were a party of 5. I was literally surprised by the quality of the food and really disappointed. We ordered Nachos as a appetizer and when it came it looked empty. No seasoning on the chicken barely any cheese or salsa on them. The salsa they serve was literally a mashed ( picture included) one person ordered a quesadilla with shrimp. It was very flat and she opened it and the shrimp was squashed into a ball, barely any cheese and she sent it back before I had a chance to take a picture. They took it off the bill. We ordered a medium skirt steak that was supposed to be marinated but it wasn't and looked so unappealing but he ate it anyway. I ordered the tropical plater which is a favorite of mine. The steak was disgusting( picture attached) The only dish that came out ok was the steak fajitas. We also had 4 cocktails. Our waitress was really nice and did her best. I truly hope this is a fluke but felt the owner of this business should be aware. I never minded the cost of the food because you knew the food would be delicious. This time we paid $178.35 for a horrible experience at Gallo’s in Patchogue, NY
