I don’t know how come all those good reviews came from. We were super excited to find this Irish restaurant and looked forward to it. When we walked in at first, the waitress just looked at us and even didn’t say anything, and we saw the post” Find your own seats “. That’s fine, but at least the waitress said something. Outdoor areas they let people smoke, and discussing smells everywhere. Indoor also not very clean at all. We ordered Fish and chips, fish was fine, but McDonald’s fries probably better than theirs. Overall just not good at all.
4th attempt to do a review. I always like to post a couple of photos of the food but it looks & smells so good, I’m always about 1/2 done before I remember, oh yeah, the pictures! This time we only ate one bite, so I figured “close enough”. Soo tasty! The corned beef is the best choice. I always order the Dublin Coddle and my wife the Ruben. I went two weeks ago with my motorcycle riding buddy. He said it was the best Ruben he’s ever had. Wait staff great, on tap beer selections are always fresh. Iced tea always gets refilled. Took some close friends who live in Surprise to this jewel. They said “how did we miss this?”
I have been coming here for over a decade+ with my Pop’s for their famous fish fry, that’s how it all started… As the years went by I found it to be the most comfortable, chilled out bar in surprise with no drama, a comfortable consistency, and convenient location. (I’ve been to all of them…) Me and my Pop’s still to this day go to the fish fry, not to mention, the bands are amazing🙌🏼The atmosphere is fun and I love throwing darts, along with playing pool. It’s all good people, good vibes, and amazing staff. I love the fact that there’s always a familiar face, no matter how many years have passed. They’re the one true bar in surprise, that still has value to their name. I Highly recommend, If you don’t go, you’re missing out no matter what night, or day of the week.
