The food was very good and our waitress was terrific friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by what appeared to be the owner or manager. As soon as we arrived, we were told that we could only stay for 90 minutes and would then have to leave. We weren’t there to watch the game; we were simply there to enjoy a meal and leave as we normally do. It felt like they assumed we would stay for hours because we were wearing soccer jerseys during the World Cup. While the food and service were great, the rude and presumptuous attitude from management left a bad impression, I recommend go somewhere else there are a lot of more Cuban restaurants that will treat you better!
The food was delicious …. As a Cuban I can say the food reminded me of my ISLA … A special thank you to the chef for their incredible talent in the kitchen and their kindness.
The prices were definitely a little high. The place itself was alright, nothing particularly special. However, the empanadas were quite disappointing; they were incredibly thin, and there was a very small amount of both meat and vegetables inside, with the dough making up the majority of the filling. The steak plates, on the other hand, had a lot of nerve! The flavor of both the empanadas and the steak plates was okay overall.
