They keep asking for my review so here it is. I live just down the street and stop in regularly to see local bands play. Their beer is fresh and some are tasty BUT. The owner always seems to be angry. I can tell he has his favorite regulars that come in ,but for a guy that owns a local kind of place, it seems like he could care a less about being friendly to all the others that support his establishment. Too many other breweries in town to go here unless there is another reason to.

I had a pretty frustrating experience at Leashless Brewing.
My friends and I came specifically because they were hosting a food truck that day. The lobster rolls were fantastic—honestly the highlight of the visit—and everything was going great at first. We grabbed a table on the patio and started eating, and up until that point the experience was completely positive.
About halfway through our meal, a bartender came over and somewhat abruptly asked if we were planning to order drinks. When we said no, we were told that we weren’t allowed to sit on the very empty patio unless we were buying something from the brewery.
This wasn’t mentioned anywhere beforehand. If we had known, we would have taken our food across the street to the park instead of settling in and then being put in that position mid-meal. Instead, we felt pressured to order something just so we could stay and finish eating.
So we ordered beers and unfortunately, that made things worse. The beer itself was really disappointing. The three of us ended up sharing two beers and trying not to make faces. We all agreed—it just wasn’t very good.
Overall, the experience went from great to uncomfortable pretty quickly. The food truck was excellent, but the way the situation was handled by the brewery staff left a bad impression. Clear communication upfront would have made a big difference.
