What Guests Are Saying
We stayed at the Poco Inn along with several other guests who were attending the same wedding in Coquitlam. Over the course of several months of planning, the staff at the Poco Inn were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. They provided free shuttles to and from the wedding venue which was wonderful, and the shuttle drivers were patient even when a few guests were late for the scheduled departure time. The room rates were reasonable and the rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds. Wedding guests were lodged in the two storey section of the hotel, along with what looked like families from a sports team, and the rooms were quiet. We parked outside our room and had easy access to pack and unpack all the wedding-related stuff in our car. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here
We got a great deal on their conference room for our intimate wedding. They also offered a food package, which made everything so much easier since we didn’t have to look for another supplier. The staff were easy to talk to, very accommodating, and attentive to all our concerns. Highly recommended for small events and weddings!
It is an old, bit dated hotel that is kind of more of a motel. I stayed for business, 3 nights. What I liked: the room was fine. A bit dated but effort was made to update it and it was clean and housekeeping was good. No funky smell. Stayed on the side where you park outside the front door of the room. Loved this part. Restaurant on site is great, room service outstanding. Staff at desk great and friendly. Even though I faced a busy road and a train yard (I think) I found the room pretty sound proof. Starbucks 5 minutes drive, 10 minute walk. Mall 15 minutes away. What is odd and you should be aware of: price is HIGH for what you get, but not a deal breaker. Parking is bad as far as space. It’s tight. If you have a truck or anything with length, you might have a tough time. Cars are no problem. TV is basic cable so if you spend a lot of time in your room, tv channels are not great. I worked on laptop at night so not a big deal. None of the bad were bad enough to not stay here again. I will be back in Port Coquitlam for business and will book here again. I am female, travelling solo and never felt uncomfortable or unsafe.
