Sutter Buttes Brewing is a great local pub restaurant. There's lot of streetside parking that is safe and easy to get in and out. It all starts with the staff, they are courteous, professional and attentive. Sutter Buttes Brewing has a great menu with various dining options worth working your way through. Sutter Buttes Brewing is geared for everyone, from dining alone, large groups, family, you name it this restaurant has a great vibe for all. One thing that needs to be complimented on is the serving side, prepare for an entree that can feed two. Ohhhh, and don't forget to checkout their dessert menu, if you're too full, take it to go. Just don't forget the dessert.
Came for a nice lunch, left with strong opinions and a side of DIY pizza rescue. First off, service? 10/10. Honestly, the wait staff carried the whole experience like pros. Atmosphere is also a win: roomy, chill, and in a great spot for a post-meal stroll down Plumas Street. They’ve got plenty of Sutter Butte brews, so you’re covered there. Now… the food. The Margherita pizza showed up acting like it was afraid of cheese. Light is one thing, but this was basically “hint of pizza.” Also, undercooked and soft enough that I had to take it home, add mozzarella like a culinary intervention, and finish the job myself. It became a group project. My husband’s Philly cheesesteak had great intentions. Lots of meat, no complaints there, but the garlic fries decided to sabotage it by oiling up the bread until it gave up completely. Soggy sandwich situation = tragic ending for a $60 Lunch and a brew. So overall: great location, great staff, solid brewery vibes… but the kitchen had a slightly chaotic afternoon. Would I go back? Yes! but I’d be ordering like I’m playing menu roulette with caution. Maybe next time I’ll try the BLAT. Or… maybe next time, we’ll just drink! Ha! 🍻🍺
Great little brewery with delicious food! Giant mozzarella sticks are so good, and beers are tasty too. Got the spicy chicken sandwich and was not disappointed
