We had a private event here, in a part of the pub that was able to seat up to 30 guests. The event was arranged at the last minute and the staff were able to accomodate our booking. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, and allowed us to have a theme inspired drink menu for guests to choose from. As a secondary event it was one of our guests birthday, and I was able to store two cakes there for when it was time to bring them out. The cakes were accompanied by a cart with utensils, plates, napkins, and a knife to cut the cake. They food was great, the atmosphere was lovely, the area we had booked was quiet and easy to talk/be heard in. We had a perfect get together celebration and a lot of fun was had by all. I am thankful for the customer service we recieved from the staff and manager.
I stopped by on a Sunday to kill time waiting for my flight (airplane). I enjoyed a flight (beer) of amazing, crisp IPA’s, and had a bowl of delicious chilli. The staff were very friendly and they had a broad selection of beer on tap!! (I cant wait to come back next time, when I can put some off-sales in my checked bag!!)
I liked Small Gods Brewing in Sidney. It was an easy walk from the Victoria to Swartz Bay bus stop. It was bright, organized and had nice offerings on my limited schedule. It was wheelchair accessible and had plenty of parking in the area. A BC Ale Trail sponsor.
