I was in Smiths recently and have to say Steve (the Barman) absolutely made our night! He was witty, friendly and on top of every aspect of the bar service. He kept the atmosphere fun while making sure everyone always had a drink in hand! It was amazing service and we’ll definitely be back to say hi to Steve!
We had an absolutely brilliant night at Smith’s in Gastown, and a huge part of that was thanks to Caoimhe. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly friendly, funny, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure our group was looked after, and her great sense of humour really made the night memorable. The service was outstanding throughout. Caoimhe is a credit to the pub and made what was already a great evening even better. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again for making our night!
I came in here for a smithwicks pint and was pleased to find a bartender who knew about the option to have a bit of guiness for the head. I had a really nice time reading here. When it comes to queer friendly dining I felt very comfortable here and they had all gender bathrooms
