A friend of mine and I visited the lab for the first time a couple of days ago. We were greeted with a smile by the bartender from behind the bar. The service was prompt and friendly. We we're interested in something from the menu. The chicken sandwich came highly recommended. "Great, make it two." I've got to say it was pretty bomb! The chicken breast was a little thin but the sandwich was dressed up pretty well and was quite tasty overall. The french fries were crispy and fresh and were especially tasty when dipped in the jalapeno ranch. I would recommend visiting the lab. Great beer selection and a full bar.
Good atmosphere arrived at an off-peak hour so staff was light but the food was good, the portion was generous, and the service was very friendly. The kind of place I would like to bring friends to. Very good beer selection with a nice range of beer types and good beer picks.
This place is fantastic! My wife and I loved the food! And the Secret Trail beer is fantastic! We will definitely be back after the great service we had today. Thanks!

None. Your artist walks the whole room through the painting stroke by stroke over about two hours, and everyone leaves with a finished canvas. Most guests have never painted before.
Parking varies by night in Chico — check the venue's website or give them a call before you head out.
Yes — the bar and cocktail list stays open while you paint. Food and drinks are ordered from and paid to the venue, and aren't part of your seat price.
Doors open 30 minutes before the painting starts. Come early, grab your seat and order a drink — the artist starts on time.
Yes — The Lab has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and restrooms. If you have specific seating needs, contact the venue ahead of the event and they'll set you up.
