We visited The Rec Room at South Edmonton Common for the first time yesterday and had lunch there. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The restaurant is very spacious, and the large windows make the dining area feel bright and inviting. There were also a couple of big screens showing the live FIFA match, which created a fun atmosphere without being overwhelming.
Every dish we ordered was delicious, including the kids’ meals. The food exceeded our expectations, and everyone in our group of 8 really enjoyed our meal.
What really made our visit memorable was the exceptional service from Leo. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. He double checked our order, made sure everything was to our satisfaction, and even offered to take a group photo when he saw my husband trying to get everyone into the picture.
We also took advantage of the Heineken Draught promotion, where a 16 oz Heineken Draught was served in a commemorative take home glass for only $12.99. After my husband finished his drink, Leo even offered to wash the glass before we took it home. It was such a thoughtful gesture and an example of excellent customer service.
Great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this location.
