Doppio Zero Hazeldean never disappoints, but this visit absolutely blew me away. As someone who genuinely loves this restaurant and visits often, I can honestly say the Frutti di Mare spaghetti was one of the best I’ve ever had — absolutely incredible. Perfectly cooked pasta, beautifully fresh seafood, rich flavour, and every bite was just exceptional. It’s rare to find a dish that memorable. Beyond the food, we are always happy here — the atmosphere is warm, the service is consistently great, and there’s just something special about the overall experience. Doppio Zero Hazeldean continues to be one of our favourite places, and this meal reminded me exactly why. Highly recommended!
The evening offered a mix of highs and lows across the menu. The Penne with Calamari & Chorizo was the standout dish...Beautifully balanced, flavorful, and truly delicious. In contrast, the Pollo Pizza felt rather average, lacking the spark that makes a pizza memorable. Desserts brought the night back on track. The Pistachio Cheesecake was above average, creamy with a subtle nuttiness. The Wood-Fired Brownie, paired with salted caramel sauce and ice cream, was indulgent and good, though the sweetness was overwhelming. Altogether, it wasn’t a bad night. A dining experience with a few highlights, a couple of misses.
