Beautiful restaurant with a cute and cozy outdoor seating area that I absolutely loved. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The food was average for me, the fries were a bit dry, but I’m sure that’s something that can easily be improved. The drinks, however, were really good and definitely a highlight of the experience! The staff were super friendly, always laughing and happy, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to my waitress, Lesedi she was amazing! She was incredibly nice and kept checking in on us to make sure we were okay. Overall, I had a lovely time and I’ll definitely be coming back again.
I had a large plate of lovely hake and the tastiest, creamy soft calamari (both fried) with chips and buttery-lemon sauce and tartare sauce on the side. Also had the creamy garlic shrimp on a previous visit. Excellent high quality seafood and good portions. Better than any seafood restaurant I have been to in Pretoria.
Absolutely blown away by the service at Malt for my sister’s wedding! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family and made every single guest feel welcomed and cared for. Even though the venue was extremely busy, the service was incredibly fast, professional, and organised. The food was honestly top quality — every meal was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. You can really see the effort and passion that goes into everything they do. Thank you to the entire Malt team for helping make such a special day even more unforgettable. I would recommend Malt to anyone looking for amazing food, outstanding service, and an all-round incredible experience!
